Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception

At this time the fate turns treasure hunter Nathan Drake in a lost city, located in the heart of the Arabian desert, where he will meet with secret organization and its ruthless leader. When Drake uncovers a terrible secret of the lost city, his quest turns into a desperate struggle for survival in an attempt to confront their deepest fears.

In a new game he and his faithful companion in the years Victor Sullivan are going to the Arabian Peninsula, to the desert in which the legendary ghost town Irem of the Columns, also known as the “city of a thousand columns”is located. The ancient town, according to legend, was stuffed with treasures of gold and other shiny stuff, but one day was lost after very strong sandstorm. As rumored by Aborigines, this was clearly the result of the divine retribution. Although some people believe that the city keeps some terrible secrets.But when the heroes learn of the terrible secrets of the lost city, they will do everything in order to survive.

Sony presented two new scenes from the Uncharted 3 story mode. You will follow Nathan on a stormy boat trip and a mad chase to an airport. Uncharted 3 developers reviled a scene where there is no more of a desert sand, but the a lot of water and the sea as a scenario. There is a Cruise Ship during a heavy storm when Nathan because of it will have to find his balance again. With its on-off flame Nathan and Elena Fisher are traveling in a jeep on an airfield where they want to go unnoticed into a cargo aircraft. The duo are soon separated again after Nathan convinced that his mission in the game was too dangerous for them.

New features in Uncharted 3 will include “enhanced backward climbing”, the ability to engage multiple enemies at the same time, as well as improved AI where enemies will be able to form squads. Multiplayer and co-op will also have more stuff. It was also announced that the new game will support the regime of stereoscopic 3D.

According to Richmond, one of those changes will see drastic alterations to bullet damage.  Many other adjustments have been made from Uncharted 2 to support the new multiplayer features. According to Naughty Dog creative director Amy Henning, the game will mainly take place in desert environments in order to really push the envelope technologically and creatively because organic elements such as sand, water and fire are much harder to render. “In a new game you will visit the amazing new places, which are located around the world” – says Naughty Dog’s community strategist Arne  Meyer. ” The new Uncharted 3 game will show you how we’ve improved the physical model, particle system, visual effects and relegate them to a whole new level. ”

The first live demonstration of the game was held on the Late Night Show with Jimmy Fallon. Finally, Naughty Dog has officially announced that total sales of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, and Uncharted: Among Thieves has exceeded 8 million copies.

The launch of Uncharted 3 is very close and the conference organized by Sony at the Gamescom 2011 represented only the latest in a long list of reasons to come to an uncontrolled hype to this highly anticipated game third chapter. In the brief presentation that took place during the conference of the company Nippon, it has been shown a part of the singleplayer campaign in which Drake, accompanied by his beautiful Helen, was committed to infiltrate a military airport to get a plane. Who or what was hidden in that plane still remains a mystery, but at least for now, we can also do without knowing it.
